Organic dried figs are plump and juicy whole figs. Lerida figs get their name from the fact that they are hand shaped into a flat disc shape when packed.

How to use
They make the perfect sweet but healthy snack or on a cheese board. They are delicious chopped up into a cereal mix or in baking, particularly fruit cakes and muesli bars.
A white sugar coating appears on figs over time as a natural result of storage. It is harmless and does not affect fruit quality. It is completely edible but can be washed off in warm water if preferred.
As this is a preservative-free, raw product, higher temperatures can cause the moisture and the sugar in the fruit to react (starting the fermentation process) so we recommend refrigeration.
