Due to current legislation we recommend that all hemp based ingredients are not used for human consumption. They can be used to make external skin care products or for pet food supplementation.
In countries that are allowed to consume hemp products as food, organic hemp protein powder is used as it contains all the amino acids in great proportions and is a raw, vegan plant based protein. Hemp protein powder has a mild flavor that easily blends with many foods. The protein and fiber help to slow digestion, prevent spikes in blood sugar, and help the body to sustain energy.
In countries that are allowed to consume hemp products as food, hemp protein powder can be mixed in with smoothies and shakes, or sprinkled on yogurt, cereal or fruit. It is also used in salad dressing, soup stock, burgers, or nut butters. The powder may be used in any baked good, and can replace some of the flour that is used.
How to use
STORAGE: Store in an airtight container in a cool, well ventilated, dark place. AVOID heat and sunlight, water and humidity. Best refrigerated after opening.
Growing and Processing
Organic protein powder is made by cold-pressing whole hemp seeds which separates the seed from the oil. A very fine powder is then created by cold-milling and then sieving (physical separation), a natural process that does not use heat, chemicals or solvents. This is a true protein powder, nutritious and full of amino acids, not a ‘hemp flour.’
